" Michael in Orlando This wood duck box feature sturdy 3/4" cedar construction for years of nesting. Simple, secure keyhole mounting is found on the back, entrance hole is 3 1/4 x 4", and a grooved ladder sawn into the front boards provides a permanent method for ducklings to climb out. Top and front are removable for easy maintenance. Mounting instructions and screws are included as well as a bag of wood shavings for nesting material. Box dimensions without roof are: outside 10-3/4 " wide by 23" high by 12 " deep, inside 9-1/4 " wide by 21-1/2 " high by 10-1/2 " deep, with bottom of whole 15-1/4 " from floor. Roof measures 11-1/2 " wide by 15-1/2 " deep, to give overhang. |
